Guided Fly Fishing Trips

Enjoy fly fishing trips in Maryland Chesapeake Bay. This stretch lies between Love Point on the eastern shore south to Thomas Point on the western shore. Your trip is tailored for up to 3 anglers, and you will be fishing for striped bass, bluefish, white perch, and other saltwater species. Book any week or weekend day from May until December. This fishing charter in Annapolis leave from Sandy Point State Park.

Your Captain

Capt. Tom Hughes is a full time Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide and books full and half day trips for 1 to 3 anglers from May to December. He has been fishing for over 30 years and has been offering fly fishing and light tackle guide services on the Chesapeake Bay since 2000.

What to Expect

Leaving early gives you the opportunity to catch some striped bass, bluefish, or a spanish mackerel on topwater which would be an exciting way to start out your trip. From there we will move toward productive structures which normally hold some nice fish.  If we see a flock of gulls working the water we'll move on them so you will have some sure hook-ups.

Location, Trips, & Fees

We will meet at Sandy Point State Park on Rt. 50E/301N, Exit #32, then follow the signs into the park. Travel times are approximately 15 minutes from Annapolis, 1 hour from VA, DC, and Baltimore (Map).
