Based on fishing
locations, the guest may be need to meet at a location
other than the town of Saint Michaels. Directions will be provided.
Ground transportation can be provided. The best value
for the guest(s) is always to meet the boat at this
location. These locations will be coordinated in advance with the guest(s).
Time
The time for the outing starts at the departure time
agreed to by the guest(s) and Captain. Depending upon
the season early departures and late evenings can prove
very productive. Talk to the Captain and tailor the
trip to match your fishing interest. Maryland fishing
after dark is highly recommended during warmer months
of summer. This is anytime, between sundown and sunrise.
Starting times for these are also flexible.
Clothing
You should wear seasonal clothing. Dress in layers
to provide warmer clothing for early morning starts
or end of day Chesapeake Bay fly-fishing. The sun will burn
you even on cloudy days. Sunscreen works, use it. A
day of fishing turns very uncomfortable for a sun burn
victim. A light rain might bring the best fishing of
the day, bring rain gear if you have it. Use good quality
sunglasses for your outing. They can help your accuracy
as much as your back cast on a sunny Chesapeake day.
Food and Drink
Full day booking includes lunch consisting of a sandwich, chips or apple and
plenty of cold waters. Special diet considerations should be discussed in advance.
For half-day outings I provide beverages only. Feel free to bring food or drink of
your own. A spot in my built in cooler is available for you to keep your items.
Space on board is limited. Please don't plan to
bring a cooler on board. Please no glass and limit alcoholic
beverages of any kind. [top]
