Summer is here, and it's time to hit our favorite schoolie sized fish with fly and light tackle. We are catching nice striped bass in the
Mid Bay now and schoolie sizes are breaking on the surface from time to time. Looks like we should be out there fishing!
Something of a surprise to many of you that have fished with me, I now own a store in St Michaels. Many of you that have been to St Michaels
know of KEEPERS in town and have shopped there for clothing by ORVIS, EXOFFICIO AND BARBOUR. Now that I own the store I have added a
tackle department with all of the items I use on my fishing expeditions. Only the best flys and tackle are making an appearence
in the stores tackle area. Come visit me when you are in town.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff and Taylor Turner in the summer of 2009. This father and son set out to FISH 50 TROPHY
WATERS IN 50 STATES IN 50 DAYS. This was to be a true epic father and son adventure. Read what they did and
view the video when they came to fish in Maryland waters with Captain Russ. This is a good example of our summer fishery in the mid bay.
